City of the Future comes to the Richmond Public Libraries!
Tell us what you want your library to be.
The City of Richmond’s “City of the Future” project has provided funding to renovate all the Richmond Public Library branches. The Library Board has also contributed funds to have a master plan done for the Library’s future building needs.
As the Library’s consultants and architectural/engineering firm assess the condition of each library, they will be holding public meetings to hear from our community about what you want our renovated library to look like and what services you want offered.
The consultants will hold meetings at the following locations:
Broad Rock Library located at 4820 Warwick Road on Tuesday, January 13th at 2:00 p.m.
Hull Street Library located at 1400 Hull Street on Tuesday, January 13th at 4:00 p.m.
West End Library located at 5420 Patterson Avenue on Tuesday, January 13th at 6:00 m.
North Avenue Library located at 2901 North Avenue on Wednesday, January 14th at 5:00 p.m.
Main Library located at 101 East Franklin Street on Wednesday, January 14th at 6:00 p.m.
